Band Camp Day 2.

Basically pain everywhere, especially in my feet which are probably covered in blisters and just hurt in general. Also I couldn’t really hold my baritone up during music block and my arms/back/shoulders are all super sore from that.

We also started learning drill today, though I think the drill writer was drunk since half the baritone section and I go off the field and into the end zone for the second set… Who does that?!?!? We got through 5 pages which is pretty impressive for the second day of band camp. We are apparently using ramps again hooray. Hopefully I’ll get to go on them.

Today we also had fun during lunch bonding with our section’s freshmen, who Barbara drove to Coach House for sandwiches. It was interesting hearing/telling stories about their siblings who we happened to be friends with. And we also got toosie pops(ew I actually don’t like those) because we got complimented woo! My section is pretty fun, I’m quite happy we switched from clarinets to baritones, especially since we got to stay inside the AC filled McAfee theater while the woodwinds were stuck out in the quad! :D
